SEO Clerks Site Review

I was sent an email today asking for my views on a site seoclerks.com which is kind of like fiverr.com but aimed at SEO and without the purchase price being stick on $5. The SEO Services offered range from $3 to $1,000. It can also be subscription based, instant downloads and multiple quantity orders.

I quite liked the idea of the site and some of the jobs on sale (only some of them as I work in SEO and didnt think all the jobs where worth the money, but thats something that you will have to decide as each site has its own needs when it comes to SEO and so you may not have as higher standards as me when it comes to what jobs, links and articles etc, that you are happy to pay for).

Anyway on with the review :)

As I noted above, this site has a very similar layout and feel to it as fiverr.com and looks to have a number of quality users on it who are offering some very good value links and services which could help both low competition keywords and high competition keywords depending on what you are after, but you will need to look into the jobs before you buy as this post is about seoclerks.com in general and not the overall quality of jobs people offer on the site.

Now Im off to create an account on the site in order to possible order some links (not FB likes though as I don’t believe in buying those because I personally would rather have real likes from real users that enjoy my blog).

Also keep an eye open for my user name on the site (NathanielB) as I will likely be adding some of my SEO services to seoclerks.com at discount prices because I think its a great way to get my name around a little more. Plus with such a good Alexa ranking the site should be getting a good amount of traffic and so I hope to get some sales :)

I will be in contact with the site owners to try and find out some more details such as traffic information and pricing for transaction fees, withdrawal fees and if they charge to add money to your account.

Over a good looking site which should be a great resource for both people looking to offer SEO services and those looking to buy SEO services with its Affordable SEO.

Stop Spending, Start Comping!

When times are tight, buying presents and even day to day goods can be the last thing on your mind — so who wouldn’t grab the opportunity to have them for free?

Comping has become hugely popular around the world recently. Usually referred to as ‘compers’, these are people who spend time every day entering a variety of competitions — and often have impressive wins to show for it!

If you are interested in getting started, there are only a few things you need. The first is motivation. It can seem like forever between wins, but you have to keep going! You’ll also need some free time each day to enter, as well as access to the Internet or a comping magazine.

Use Social Media

If you don’t already have them, set up Twitter and Facebook accounts. Many companies host competitions on these sites to boost their reputations. Whether you are looking at big companies or smaller handmade-goods companies, keep an eye on their pages and you are sure to find a competition to enter! ‘Comping circles’ also are really useful on these sites, where compers post winners names that they spot, ensuring that you don’t miss claiming your prize.

Save Time

If you are worried about the time it will take, set yourself up to comp on the go. Whether you are waiting in a line or on the bus, if you have access to the Internet, you can comp away. Simply browse Facebook looking for comps, and install apps such as online fax services and online form fillers to ensure you can meet competition requirements.

Daily Comps

Details for a variety of daily competitions, along with those from TV programs, advertisements and magazines, can usually be found on competition forums. The answers can sometimes be found as well — meaning all you need to do is fill out the form and wait! Don’t forget to ensure your contact details are correct before submitting an application, though, because competition organizers will only attempt to contact you a few times, and will have a very limited period before they choose another winner.

Last Tip

Join the communities, post competitions and winners you spot and thank people for helping you. Show people what you’ve won, and only enter competitions for the things you want or could use. Not only could you win all your gifts this year, and save yourself money on the things you want, but you could also make new friends, and find a hobby you adore. Good luck!

This is a guest post from Theo Langerquist. It only takes a few minutes per day to enter a couple of online competitions. Utilizing online fax services and form fillers can save you even more time, allowing you to enter more competitions that you originally thought you were capable of. Remember, the more you enter the more likely you are to win!

Video Production Comes to iPhone

With the latest advancements in technology shooting videos on your cell phone has never been easier, especially if you own an iPhone. With the new iPhone 4, the fun with videos has become even more exciting since you can now edit your movies right on your phone. There is no need to download your video onto your computer and then use editing software to transform it into something without all of the extra stuff that really doesn’t add to your shot.

With the use of iMovie, whenever you shoot a video it automatically pops up in your iMovie file all set and ready for editing and is specifically designed for Multi-Touch.  With a simple tap you can add to your video as well as your pictures and then preview your award-winning clip before sending it to others. The app includes eight themes to enhance your movie and many of the themes include special titles, a soundtrack and transition modes.

The process of editing in iMovie is really as simple as tapping the screen. You will be able to see where one clip ends and the next one begins and seam them together or add something between them to show your movie just like you want it to be seen. Using the audio input on your device you can add direct sound, such as narration to your video or add music and other sound effects available on the app. You can also add background sound such as laugh tracks or dramatic sounds and with over than 50 effects you can add that perfect sound at every point in your project.

With iMovie it is easy to drag and drop sound effects to add or delete sounds and you can also rearrange your audio clips in a few seconds. Depending on the type of project you are working on you can use several songs to fill the background or use a single audio file in a loop to replay the same sound throughout the presentation. Your narration can be recorded through your microphone in the iPad, on your iPhone and even on an iPod Touch.

Once you have edited and saved your project you are ready to share it with the world, or even just a few friends. You can publish your movie directly from iMovie to your favorite social network such as Facebook or to YouTube or Vimeo as well as to CNN iReport. If you have the AirPlay app you can use it to send your video right to Apple TV or use the Camera Roll to synchronize the video to your PC or Mac and with the Apple AV adapter you can show your movie project on your big screen TV.

If you want a larger screen to edit your project, simply transfer your movie files to your iPad using iTunes, which allows you to move your files between all compatible devices. With the larger screen on your iPad it may be easier to visualize what others will see before you make your movie available to the world.

Top 5 Most Popular Cartoon Characters

Cartoon characters are and always will be a significant part of everyone’s childhood. We have grown up with them, laughed with them, and even used cartoons to escape from reality. They always manage to successfully entertain kids especially when we can’t and are a great way to keep children busy while we rush round to get things done. But even as adults we are guilty of watching cartoons and using our children or younger siblings as an excuse to do so. We all have our favourite characters and here is a list of the five most popular and much loved cartoon characters:

Thomas the Tank Engine

One of the most loved children’s cartoon characters of all time, Thomas the Tank Engine is known for being cheeky and loves teasing the other engines. Every child is aware of the hit cartoon series Thomas and Friends based on the popular books written by Rev. W. Awdry and his son Christopher. Rev. W. Awdry celebrated his centenary this year on 15th June 2011 and to celebrate Royal Mail have introduced Thomas the Tank Engine Royal Mail stamps for all Thomas fans to collect. His fans adore him for having such a big heart, being adoringly forgetful and believing he can achieve anything. He was also the only fictional character to be listed on the “Happy List” in the Independent on Sunday in 2009 together with 99 others who were seen as making Britain a happier place.

Mickey Mouse

Created and voiced by Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse soon became the logo for Disney and is now one of the most loved and recognised characters in the world. He is known and recognised by his red shorts, white gloves, big yellow shoes and big round black ears. The adventurous and mischievous little character was first released in Steamboat Willie on 18th November 1928 and throughout the year his personality has considerably changed and the mischief was instead created by the other characters. He now is the first cartoon character in the world to have his own star on the Hollywood walk of fame in 1978, which was made to celebrate his 50th anniversary.

Homer Simpson

The frustrated grunt “Doh!” (which has been added to the English dictionary) has become one of the most famous cartoon catchphrases, from the one and only Homer Simpson. Created by Matt Groening and named after his father Homer Groening, Homer Simpson is known for his love for Duff Beer and Doughnuts and his hatred towards his Boss, Mr. Burns and neighbour, Ned Flanders. Homer Simpson’s stupidity, laziness and explosive anger (which often causes him to strangle his son Bart) has made Homer the star of The Simpsons cartoon show. Homer was even named the greatest character created for television and film in the past 20 years by Entertainment Weekly in 2010. His voice now features on the Tom Tom device which is sure to make your journey an unforgettable one.

Bugs Bunny

Bugs Bunny is the leader of the Looney Toons and the very famous mascot for Warner Brothers. Bursting with personality this rabbit loves to play tricks on his enemies, who he always has the upper hand over and is a funny and entertaining character to watch. Bugs Bunny made his first debut as a star in ‘A Wild Hare’ in 1940 and is known for his love for carrots, being hunted by Elmer Fudd, and his famous saying “What’s up Doc?”. Along with Mickey Mouse he has his own star on the Hollywood walk of fame and rightly so, he has starred in over 175 films and has even won an Oscar for the film Knighty Knight Bugs, in 1958.

Scooby Doo

Scooby Doo is the famous and hugely loved 7 year old Great Dane, created by Hanna-Barbera productions. Sidekick, pet and best friend of Shaggy, Scooby Doo has been solving mysteries with his friends since 1969. Shaggy and Scooby are both known for being extremely cowardly characters with huge appetites and travel around in the famous van ‘The Mystery Machine’ with Fred, Daphne and Velma. Scooby and Shaggy are usually used as bait to help catch the villains, even though Scooby is always running in the opposite direction of monsters and demons, he can always be easily bribed to do anything for his favourite Scooby snacks. In 2004-2005, Scooby Doo achieved the Guinness World Record for the most episodes of any animated TV series ever produced.

Best Intex Above Ground Swimming Pools

There are many makers of above ground pools, however there is a reason that Intex pools are the best selling above ground swimming pools in the World.

Firstly is the quality of the products that they offer, secondly is the wide variety of above ground pool kits that they offer, and thirdly as they are the biggest supplier of above ground pools in the World, they offer above ground kits at highly competitive prices.

They offer kits in several World class leading designs from simple and cheap round easy set pools which are available in sizes from 10ft to 18ft in diameter, through to large oval easy set pools which can be as long as 28ft and as deep as 4ft. This means that you can get the benefit of a full size pool, and yet only pay a fraction of the price.

As a more robust alternative to an easy set pool you could look an Intex frame set pool, which as its name suggests has a metal frame that the pool liner hangs from. These are more robust than an easy set pool, and are a step closer to feeling like a proper swimming pool that you can exercise in. They are also available in up to 32ft in length, which makes them equally comparable to an in ground swimming pool in terms of their size.

At the high end of Intex swimming pools are the ultra metal frame pools, which are built up of steel panels to make the most robust above ground swimming pools on the market today. Yet they are easy to assemble between two people, with the majority of the steel panels clipping together to form an incredibly robust structure.

The ultra metal frame above ground pools offer an in ground swimming pool experience at a fraction of the cost. Yet if you move house then you can simply empty all of the water out, disassemble the swimming pool and take it with you.

All of the Intex pool kits come with full instructions as well as a DVD showing how to assemble the kit that you have bought.

Some of the best selling Intex kits are their metal frame pool packages, which are ideally suited to holding family parties where a lot of splashing around will be done. They are easy to put up and indeed you could be starting to fill it up within an hour of taking the kit out of the box.
